I haven't made any of these type of patterns (brick stitch) in quite a long while. But I like that I can bead them up relatively fast. I haven't figured out what I want to do with these, but they will either end up as a pendant necklace or a keychain. My first one was a cat of course. My second one was modeled after my Molly dog, and I beaded it up in odd-count peyote. It is not easy doing black dogs, but this turned out really nice, and a good, sweet example of the breed. Others I might make: Beagle, Chihuahua, Chick, Corgi, dolphin, Elephant, English Bulldog, penguin, pig, tiger, bunny, and another colorful cat. They are fun, simple projects that one could do in an afternoon. I beaded up the dachshund in under 2 hours. :) I believe the cat took around 2 hours as well. I highly recommend the fireline thread. I did the cat with c-lon thread and it kept knotting, etc, which made it more frustrating than it needed to be.
