I beaded up a Metallic Cheetah and a White Owl Today. The owl took about an hour, the Cheetah about 3 1/2. I am going to put the cheetah on a gold-filled chain once it arrives. The owl has several larger versions available. And I have a metallic fox in the works that will compliment the cheetah very nicely. I almost didn't do the pattern for the fox, but my niece encouraged me to try again, because she LOVES foxes. The Cheetah is around 2 inches, the owl is around 1 inch. Really enjoyed picking the beads out for the cheetah. Uses lots of metallic beads. Haven't listed the cheetah pattern yet, but that is coming soon. Also, I finally found pinbacks I like, some small circular ones, as shown on the dachshund that I made for my mother. And I finished the peacock! It felt like it took forever, probably a couple months because so much has been going on lately. I hope to bead it onto a wooden dowel, and add fringe, etc to finish it off. But first I am getting some new projects done. I have the patterns prepped for the peacock, hopefully I will get them listed this week.

Just finished this cute little bear. Had to start it over as some of the colors weren't contrasting right, so I had to pick new ones. Took about 3 hours, has 6 colors and measures about 2 1/2 inches by 2 inches. I am going to turn it into a necklace when I get a chance, but would make an adorable pin as well. But I haven't bought the pin backs that I picked out yet, so haven't gotten that far. No wordcharts for these, but on this one you can work up in brick or odd count peyote. Pattern/Kit coming next week. 7-11-17
Just got around to turning this into a necklace. Made it a little different with a black chain instead of the usual gold or silver, with coordinating swarovski beads. |
